Forgot to write a blog entry last night, so here it is.

Woke up and waxed for a few hours, then it got too hot and I had to quit. Got dressed because I was planning on buying an acoustic guitar and I wanted to send my brother out some little gifts.

Today I waxed and relaxed.

Read some and cooked some BBQ chicken and pasta.

That is all.

Woke up and waxed. After a while it got too hot so I decided to wait till it cooled off later in the day.

Took some pictures. Found a huge Iguana next to the pool and chased it around. It ran away and climbed the fence then sat in a tree. Got some good pictures of it. Then I went behind one of the buildings and there was a woodpile- with little baby iguanas in it that ran away from me too! Haha

Went back and waxed away for a couple hours. Almost got to the finish line but it started raining. It was pretty clear out, but then I heard rain behind me and I turned around and could actually see the rain getting closer and closer. It was pretty cool though.

Today I woke up hot and sweaty. Sometime during the night the door had closed, or I had closed it. When I opened it a rush of cool air came in from the salon on down the hallway.

I had my usual cereal then put on lotion, waited a little for it to sink in, then went up and finished cleaning the boat. By the time I was done I noticed how much tanner I was. And it also felt like I was getting some of my muscle back. Getting used to the heat and the work; I'm not gettting tired like I did when I first arrived.

After that I jumped in the pool because I was dripping sweat. Then, I got dressed and went into town to do some grocery shopping. Ended up buying my brother a gift and finding an SD card. Then bought about a one or two week's supply of groceries at the PALI mart.

I am happy to speak very frankly about sailing, living aboard, living in the Caribbean, leaving the US system, or any other topic you want to discuss. I have watched many people come and go from boating in the time I have been living aboard, both those living on smaller boats and those living on 110 foot mega yachts. It seems that many people come expecting tropical paradise and are shocked to find paradise is not always what you see in the pictures but includes some mosquitoes, huge bugs, poverty, stray dogs, crime, drugs, and many other problems left out of the tourist photos.
